About the Role
C&C Construction Group is seeking experienced Bricklayers / Masons for ongoing commercial masonry projects. This position involves performing high-quality masonry work on commercial job sites, including structural and architectural masonry installations.
Responsibilities include laying CMU block, brick, Omni block, ground face, and split face masonry in accordance with project plans and specifications. Masons will be expected to maintain proper line, level, plumb, and alignment while working efficiently as part of a crew.
The role requires working safely on active commercial construction sites, following jobsite safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Candidates must be able to take direction from foremen, coordinate with other trades, and complete work to company and industry standards.
This is a hands-on position suited for skilled masons who take pride in their workmanship and want steady commercial work with a professional masonry contractor.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial masonry construction (or equivalent demonstrated skill)
Proven experience laying:
CMU block
Brick
Omni block
Ground face block
Split face block
Strong understanding of:
Masonry layout and coursing
Bond patterns and control joints
Mortar types and finishes
Plumb, level, and square installation
Experience with structural and architectural masonry applications
Ability to safely operate masonry tools and equipment (saws, mixers, lifts, hand tools, etc.)
Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA requirements
Ability to work efficiently as part of a crew and independently when required
Physically capable of performing masonry work, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation to commercial job sites
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
Preferred (but not required):
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience on large-scale commercial or institutional projects
Foreman or lead experience
Ability to layout from prints independently
