About the Role
C&C Construction Group is seeking Masonry Laborers to support our crews on commercial masonry projects. This position plays a key role in assisting bricklayers and masons to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the job site, mixing mortar, stocking block and brick, setting up and breaking down scaffolding, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Laborers will assist with material handling, tool operation, and general support tasks as directed by the foreman or lead mason.
This role requires working outdoors on active commercial construction sites, following all safety procedures, and maintaining consistent productivity throughout the workday. Requirements
Prior experience in construction or masonry labor preferred (will train the right candidate)
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials, shoveling, carrying block/brick, and working on scaffolding
Willingness to assist masons with:
Mixing and handling mortar
Supplying block, brick, and materials
Jobsite setup and cleanup
Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment (or willingness to learn)
Ability to follow instructions from foremen and masons
Strong awareness of jobsite safety practices
Ability to work in outdoor conditions in varying weather
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Reliable transportation to commercial job sites
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred (but not required):
Previous commercial construction experience
Masonry-specific labor experience
OSHA 10 certification
Experience working on scaffolding or lifts
